Privacy Notice
Draft for legal review. Last updated 30 September 2026.
Golf Trailblazers Limited (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it and the rights you have. We are the controller of your personal data for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Golf Trailblazers Limited is a company registered in Scotland (company number SC619078). You can contact us about privacy at concierge@golftrailblazers.com.
What we collect
When you send us an enquiry, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, phone number, country, preferred contact method, travel dates, group size and any other information about your plans that you include. We also record the page you enquired from, any campaign information in the link you followed, and a one-way encrypted version of your IP address, which helps us prevent spam.
We do not ask for passport details, payment details or other sensitive information through this website.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a proposal for you. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
- To send you news about new journeys and private invitations, only if you tick the box to receive them. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep our website secure and prevent misuse, based on our legitimate interests.
- To understand how our website is used, through anonymous visit statistics (see below), based on our legitimate interests.
Visit statistics
We count visits to this website with our own statistics system. It does not use cookies or store anything on your device. It records the page you view, the website that referred you, your browser, device type and approximate country, and how long the page was open. To tell visits apart without identifying you, we combine your IP address and browser with a random value that is replaced and deleted every day, and keep only the resulting code. Your IP address is never stored, and visits cannot be linked from one day to the next. Visits by our own staff are not counted. Statistics are kept for 13 months.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is shared within our team in Scotland and, for guests in North America, with our USA Director. We use trusted service providers to host this website and to send email. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes. Where your data is transferred outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place. We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to a booking, we delete or anonymise it after 24 months. If you travel with us, we keep your records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at concierge@golftrailblazers.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
